Welcome to the launch of the Kairos of Maryland blog! We are thrilled to have you here as we embark on this digital journey to share the heart and soul of Kairos Prison Ministries International. Our mission has always been to bring the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to those impacted by incarceration. Now, we are creating this dedicated space to capture the rich, diverse content that reflects every facet of this ministry. Whether it’s through a weekend or continuing ministry long-term support, we want to highlight how God is moving and changing lives. One Ministry, Three Programs To truly tell the story of Kairos, we are seeking to feature insights and updates from across our entire program spectrum: Kairos Inside: Sharing the transformative power of the 3.5-day weekend and the "Prayer and Share" communities within medium and maximum-security prisons. Kairos Outside: Providing a safe, spiritual environment for the women who support those on the inside, ensuring they know they are not alone. Kairos Torch: Focusing on youth and young adults, offering a chance to break the cycle of incarceration through unconditional love and mentoring. What to Expect This blog isn't just a bulletin board—it’s a living testimony focusing on: Powerful Testimonies: First-hand accounts of lives redeemed and families restored. Innovative Strategies: New ways our volunteers are reaching the marginalized and improving our ministry's impact. Program Highlights: Celebrating the "wins" and the quiet, miraculous moments that happen at every table.
